Welcome to PurpleCar
I’m Christine Cavalier, a writer living in the Philadelphia, PA USA area. I write to amuse, delight, and steer us toward creative action in our lives. I share knowledge about how humans interact with technology and how technology affects our lives. (See more at my post The Psychology of Information Technology)
PurpleCar: Find your creative drive
Whether you drive at a Sunday leisurely pace or at a breathless racing clip, you are welcome to explore the roads my fellow “purplecar cabbies” and I have traveled. Please join the road rally in the comments section under each post. We’d like to hear about what inspires you and how you think we all could live and work more creatively.
What drives PurpleCar
Building on my Masters Degree in Educational Psychology, I study Psychology of IT & Media, Behavioral Economics, and creativity. With background experience in both technology and Psychology, I try to offer a unique yet helpful perspective on what drives human decision-making. I also read and review books, and occasionally interview the authors on my podcast PurpleCarPark. On Twitter and other my social networks, I try to keep the engines running on discussions and ignite some new thinking about the effects of modern-day media on our lives.
